Yesterday Rick and I spent the day discovering a new mall. We are looking for a desk chair for me and have been doing some comparative shopping. Anyway, we decided to take in a movie about 4:30. Have I told you about the movies here? Well, they are up to date with the ones on in the U.S. pretty much. But that said, they are SO much better.
1. You can actually get your movie tickets online and just pick them up at the theatre.
2. You have to CHOOSE your seats (like at a play or the opera). So you can make sure you have the seats of your choice.
3. The theatres are very nice - very comfortable chairs with plenty of leg room. People can walk in front of you to get to their seats without you having to scrunch your knees up.
4. At the concession stand, you have two choices of popcorn - salty or sweet. The sweet is a light version of cracker jacks. So good. OR you can have a mixture of sweet and salty.
5. Yesterday during about 15 seconds of the movie the picture went off but the sound kep going. During the credits the management came on the loud speaker and apologized TWICE. Then someone met us at the exit door with FREE PASSES to another movie of our choice! Wow.
6. Haven't experienced this yet but there is also a Gold Classic theatre which offers reclining seats and a menu! They BRING you your orders!
What a great day, except the desk chair I wanted is out of stock until March! Boo hoo!
